Combo Tester for Wrist Straps and Heel Grounders Including Software
Easy-to-use meter measures electrical resistance of wrist straps and heel grounders simultaneously and individually. Give actual resistance readings and store data. When the software is used, test results are stored on a computer which allows you to monitor and analyze test information and help manage your company’s static control program.
Meter features:
- Test both wrist straps and heel grounders simultaneously and individually at a safe 19 volts
- Reads actual resistance of wrist straps and heel grounders from 500 kilohms up to 100 meg ohms, with an option up to 1000 meg ohms.
- Conforms to US ANSI/ESD S20.20 standard and to European CE standard
- Alarm points may be programmed to any value for any employee or default limits
- Allow employee access by keyboard, mouse, barcode, mag stripe or proximity card
- Allows for new employees to be added easily the first time they use the tester

Dual Footwear/Wrist Strap Tester
RS-T01This tester is produced according to ISO/CD8782-1 standard, can test ground resistance of hand and foot, and there is LED display and alarm. It is an absolutely necessary tester in static control, which uses 9V battery and has low voltage & safety. User can easily adjust the height of tester.
Operating the tester
- Test ESD shoe/foot grounder
Switch “Selective Switch” to the left “Foot Wear”, and stand on the testing board after wearing ESD Shoe, then press “PRESS TO TEST” key. In this way, the left light will display the ground resistance range of left foot wearing the ESD shoe and the right light will display the one of right foot.
- Test antistatic wrist strap
Switch “Selective Switch” to the right “wrist strap”, and link the connector plug (or fish clip) with the jack (pole) after wearing wrist strap, then press “PRESS TO TEST” key. In this way, the right light will display the ground resistance range of wrist strap.

Operating the tester
- Wristband and Coil Cord Test.
- Make sure that the wristband is well put on.
- Plug the cord into the appropriate socket on the plate.
- Make sure that the switch is set to test wristbands.
- Press the metal button of the tester.
- Heel Grounder or Foot Test.
- Make sure that the switch is set to test foot test.
- Place left foot on the foot plate and press the metal button of the tester.
- Place right foot on the foot plate and press the metal button of the tester.
